I was up super early this morning and hoping for a look at the transit of Venus across the sun, but sadly a poorly placed cloud right over Byfjord killed my view of the sun. Fortunately, I got some great sunrise shots as a consolation prize.
Anonymous coward back after long hiatus, and looking at your old blog post. I was really fortunate that a friend let me view the transit through his sextant - it was awesome, and sextants are awesome in their ability to move the sun.
